香港中文大学商学院又新开了个TPG项目，MSc in Information Science and Technology Management，简称MSc in ISTM，10月下旬开始申请。这个项目是建立已久的MSc in Information and Technology Management项目课程上的演变，目的是让学生掌握商业管理原则和信息技术实践，以及深入的相关技术知识和广泛的商业技能，帮助学生在世界各地追求成功的职业生涯。可以说两个项目的培养目标是一样的。

不同的是MSc in ISTM由商学院决策科学与管理经济系和工程学院信息工程系合力，课程涵盖了信息科学、技术和商业管理理论与应用的最新发展，如大数据管理、区块链、商业智能、金融科技、信息安全、物联网、项目管理、社交媒体分析等。

MSc in ISTM是针对工程或商科背景、想获得前沿IT和技术管理知识的学生。要获得此项目学位，需要完成30学分的课程，包括12学分的必修课，9学分的optional核心课，9学分的选修课，每门课程3学分。项目的学制是1年，8月至次年6月，23秋是第一届学生入学时间。

必修课：

• Strategic Information Systems
• Statistical Analysis

• Software Design and Development
• Data Communications and Networking

Optional核心课（6选3，至少各选一门DSE和IE系的课程）：

• Business Intelligence Techniques and Applications
• Database and Big Data Management
• Project Management

• Cryptography, Information Security and Privacy
• Data Science in Practice
• Internet of Thing and Smart Applications

部分选修课：

• Advanced Information Systems Practicum
• Fintech and Its Applications
• Enterprise Resource Planning
• Blockchain and Its Application
• Selected Topics of Information and Technology Management

• Emerging Communication Technologies
• Technology Strategy
• Social Media Analytics
• Emerging Topics in Information Engineering
• Any ONE 3-unit IEMS-coded course offered by MSc Programme in Information Engineering

学生可以根据自己背景、兴趣和职业目标，从optional核心课和选修课里选择更技术、更偏管理或平衡选择。也可以选择一门商学院或工程学院其他Master项目的课程。

跟已有的MSc in Information and Technology Management课程相比，MSc in ISTM就是多了工程学院IE系的课程选择。

Entry requirements：

至少二等荣誉本科学位，或者本科成绩B以上。

截止时间：

2023-3-31！采取rolling的审核形式直到招满为止，所以强烈建议尽早申请。如果招满后会提前截止，后续提交的申请就不会考虑了。

学费：

2023-24学年的学费是HK$280,000，分三次交：接受offer的两周内交10万港币的押金，第二学期12月开始时和第三学期3月开始时各交8万港币。

• Personal Statement

• Curriculum Vitae

• Copies of certificates of academic/professional qualifications

• Copies of Official transcripts (with a complete record of courses attended and examination results) and grading schemes of all tertiary level studies

• Proof of English Language proficiency

• TWO referees

• A photocopy of Hong Kong Identity Card or other identity document

• GMAT or GRE score report
